HALL GREEN
This is typical residential land use of the outer ring of a large city. Note there are front gardens and garages. These are semi-detached houses.
This is taken on the main Stratford road. In the outer ring the road is wide because it is a dual carriageway. This shows houses built in the 1960's.

Some houses are also detached. With distance from the city centre the quality of the housing increases.
Hall Green was absorbed into the city boundary during the early 1900's. This large Victorian semi detached house is a contrast to the small terraced houses built in Sparkbrook at the same time.

Is there a pattern in the types of houses along the transect?
You can form your own hypothesis and investigate it using the data provided. Remember to open and save a new excel document and cut and paste the data you want from the web site to your spreadsheet. You can then use the excel package to show your data graphically.
